We've Missed You!

Starting Monday June 8th we will be open to limited foot traffic in the library! We’re very excited and have missed seeing you! Please read the following details of our opening policies:

1. We will be open our regular hours.
2. The public restrooms and the water fountain are not available.
3. Most seating has been moved or rearranged.
4. There is currently a limit of 10 patrons in the building at one time. Three of these spots are for computer users and seven are for people choosing books, movies etc. The inside library doors will show how many spots are currently available. If there are spots open, please knock on the door to be admitted. If there are no spots open, please wait outside the building until you see someone leave.
5. Because occupancy is limited, people browsing for books, movies, etc.will be asked to complete their transactions in 30 minutes or less.
6. We currently only have 3 computers available. Computer use will be by appointment only, one hour time limit, once a day. Please call ahead (620-583-6222) to reserve your spot.
7. Either hand sanitizer or gloves must be used by patrons entering the building. We have both hand sanitizer and disposable non-latex gloves available for you.
8. Masks are not required but strongly encouraged. We have a limited number of masks to hand out on a first come, first served basis.
9. All items being returned must still go in the outside book drop - including DVDS. We can not accept any returns inside the building.
10. Curbside service is still available.
11. Please practice social distancing
These guidelines have been put in place after consulting with various library organizations and local health officials. They will be reviewed periodically and either loosened or tightened based on current COVID-19 activity.
We are happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
Again, welcome back!
