WE ARE OFFICIALLY FINE FREE!
New Policy Eliminates Fines!

Eureka Public Library will no longer charge fines on overdue items. This ensures that all people have access to library books and materials which is an important part of the mission of the library.
Patrons of the library are expected to return all items undamaged and on time so they will be available for other patrons. Although there is no charge for items returned late, library cardholders are responsible for returning or renewing items to prevent their library card from being blocked.
The library will continue to send courtesy overdue notices. If an item is not returned or renewed by 30 days after its original due date, the library considers it lost and the patron will be charged the cost of replacement. The patron may resolve the issue by returning the item, paying for the item, or negotiating a payment plan to pay for the item.
If you have any question about the new ‘fine-free” policy or your library account, please call the library at 620-583-6222.
FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!
