This Week in History

We are open!

Please read the following details of our opening policies:

1. Masks are required.
2. We will be open our regular hours.
3. The public restrooms and the water fountain are not available.
4. Most seating has been moved or rearranged.
5. There is currently a limit of 10 patrons in the building at one time. Three of these spots are for computer users and seven are for people choosing books, movies etc. The inside library doors will show how many spots are currently available. If there are spots open, please knock on the door to be admitted. If there are no spots open, please wait outside the building until you see someone leave.
6. Because occupancy is limited, people browsing for books, movies, etc.will be asked to complete their transactions in 30 minutes or less.
7. We currently only have 3 computers available. Computer use will be by appointment only, one hour time limit, once a day. Please call ahead (620-583-6222) to reserve your spot.
8. Either hand sanitizer or gloves must be used by patrons entering the building. We have both hand sanitizer and disposable non-latex gloves available for you.
9. All items being returned must still go in the outside book drop - including DVDS. We can not accept any returns inside the building.
10. Curbside service is still available.
11. Please practice social distancing

These guidelines have been put in place after consulting with various library organizations and local health officials. They will be reviewed periodically and either loosened or tightened based on current COVID-19 activity.

The "My Account" Option

Did you know you can manage your library account from home? Now you can review what you have checked out, renew items, and place holds on items any time of the day. All you need is your Eureka Public Library Card and a PIN #. Visit the library to create your personal PIN #. Then, look at the upper right corner of our webpage and click "My Account". You will need to enter your name (Last, First), your complete library card barcode # (found on the back of your library card), and your PIN #. Come by the library today to sign up!
